Your microphone & voice. When you use Sing Along or Practice mode, your microphone audio is processed live in your own browser by your browser's built-in speech recognition to check the words you sing. Your voice is not recorded, not stored, and not sent to our servers. Audio is used only in the moment to give you feedback, then discarded. You can decline microphone access and still use every other feature.
What's stored. Your saved songs, words, and progress are kept only in this browser on your device (in local storage). We don't have accounts, and we don't collect or store personal information on our servers. Clearing your browser data removes everything.
Lyrics & music. Lyrics are retrieved from the public lrclib.net database, translations from machine-translation services, and songs play through embedded YouTube videos subject to YouTube's terms. Lyrics and music remain the property of their respective copyright holders. Lírico is an independent educational tool for personal language learning and is not affiliated with any artist, label, or platform. We display this content for personal, non-commercial study under fair-use principles; we don't host, sell, or redistribute it.
Third parties. To work, the app contacts: lrclib.net (lyrics), YouTube (video), Apple's public charts feed (popular songs), and machine-translation services (translations). Their own privacy policies apply when their content loads.
Use at your own discretion. Lírico is provided "as is" for personal learning, with no warranty. Difficulty levels, translations, and pronunciation feedback are automated estimates and may not be perfectly accurate.
